Today at ~13:20 I came out to my german professor-turned-friend as a furry

On slide 11 I was doing a general introduction, and I asked her if she had any questions.

She said, "let me guess. cat."

And that was the moment I switched to slide 12 with perfect timing

The discovery unfolded on the gbadev Discord a few hours ago. It looks like "green swap", an undocumented hardware register, is actually a primitive stereoscopic mode and some suspiciously unused bits control which eye sprites and backgrounds will get displayed on. According to the research it looks like an every-other-column eye ordering like the 3DS does, but there's no parallax barrier to prevent the wrong columns being visible to the wrong eyes.

wanted to do a single comic page to practice character interaction stuff so I did!! Mia likes to do things as direct as possible (to Alice's chagrin)
