@feditips I'm honestly surprised that I'm not seeing widespread use of text as images with alt text to at least get more chars in Mastodon. (AFAIK, alt text has a larger limit, more than twice the post limit, and the image itself of course won't enforce any limit, other than possibly applying lossy compression) @feditips yes i want to post entirety of The Wandering Inn in a single post
