@h@social.besties.house a couple of things i noticed about fediverse drama, particularly about dansup. one is he made a big deal about links from his app getting blocked. he seemed to love it. personally, when i posted a pixelfed link on my threads account, nothing was blocked. i think we extrapolated a bit too much from the few times it happened. second, it does seem like blocking a whole app and blocking a person are two different things. i'm not saying it was a nice thing to do, but i think it's not a clear equivalency. third, i feel like everything is becoming a "who's team are you on" thing. i don't like dan's vibes, that's just my opinion. but at the same time, it seems like there's so much chat about what so-and-so has done that it's really hard to make a decision. i heard dan said transphobic things, but i cant seem to find them. so what am i to do? sorry, maybe im rambling. i hope im not coming across as too negative to you and not believing you, its just so hard to know whats really going on these days, at all levels, and im tired lol
