Weird! I'm using the stock Masto web UI in Vivaldi Android, and it shows as it's meant to, with the numbers sub & super scripted.
I C&Ped it into the Notes app, and it still looks right, until I add a space between the numbers and slash, then the digits revert to normal.

@anselmschueler @silvermoon82 @gbrnt that's the conclusion i came to also. also there's no rhyme or reason to which fonts will render correctly. eg Roboto does, but Roboto Mono doesn't! @anselmschueler yeah I just thought it might be another on the list of things that the mastodon web interface strips out! |
@silvermoon82 @millihertz @gbrnt y'all I'm fairly sure this is a font thing, i.e. whether it works doesn't really depend on the interface per se.
most importantly I'm extremely sure this isn't any kind of markup being generated by Mastodon or the client
