Napping.Synth.Downloadi think they shoudl make xmpp based microblogging an actual thing (this means someone would have to make a frontend that isnt fucking movim because movim is kinda ass actually)

i guess one issue with xmpp for this purpose is that it doesn't oauth you literally just give your credentials to the client app which doesnt sound like good news for trustworthy web based clients
