ruben is capable of doing actual computing and such via running full blown operating systems by doing them all in hypervisors on himself , which we aren't entirely sure how ..? it seems he has extra bits inside of him which does the whole computing things , and it appears that he has compatibility layers for both arm and x86 , although we seem to notice he prefers doing everything with arm if possible ( we're assuming its probably more efficient )

ruben's built in "firmware" , if you will , seems to be slightly different than from what usually comes on synths , allowing for more tasks and computing that would otherwise not be available on the usual synth , although still seemingly very minimal .

it appears he isn't the only one that does this , but normally would require generally a more beefy body , since it uses quite a bit of energy , although considering , well . slosh . it seems to be no issue for him .

at this point , we aren't sure how much ruben has diverged from being just a "synth" .

@sneexy does that mean ruben is capable of running like full DEs and being used as an actual desktop :blobfox3c:

@wintburr@oomfie.city yeah , he is ! his main hypervisor consists of a full kde desktop with many emulators and roms stored on him . he supports bluetooth or just use a wired controller if preferred
