The letter in USB-* indicates direction, using hour-on-clock intervals. Thus USB-F port is equivalent to USB-F starboard, both meaning “it’s right behind you!!”

@catsalad Note that since the computer is clearly coming towards you, the USB port is on *your* right hand side, (and if you want to avoid your computer then “helm to port and show your red”).
